Paint with a Pint

About once a month we host a “Paint with a Pint” event at Malt & Barrel. These are hosted by local artist Jennifer Smythe with the Southern Missouri Arts Council.

Jennifer is an experienced art instructor, having taught children and adults for several years. Her teaching style is to guide her students through the process, step-by-step, a style that she has honed through years of leading painting parties. She is passionate about using art to heal hearts and believes anyone has the talent to create something wonderful. Her own art reflects her interest in nature, especially flowers.

Speaking about Suds with Gamma Goat Soap Co.

About once a month we host a class that smells pretty amazing learn to make bath and spa products with our local soap maker extraordinaire Penny from the Gamma Goat Soap Company. She makes us some exclusive soaps that are made from fresh goats milk for a very nourishing and moisturizing soap. They have all natural ingredients as well as no added preservatives or chemicals that are harmful to the skin. These soaps are made with essential oils and oil blends of natural ingredients to add the scents that we all enjoy.
